How does it work?

WHAT: 

Teams of 2 to 10+ will climb Horseshoe Valley Resort Mountain together to reach the combined height of 29,092 ft., the height of Mount Everest.

  • Team of 4: 24 ascents

  • Team of 6: 16 ascents

  • Team of 12: 8 ascents

  • Community Team (solo entries): every 96 trips are a new Everest summit accomplishment

  • 2 potential routes to the top with a celebration at each summit provide variety and excitement

  • Basecamp 1 will have music/kids activities/food/large screen tallying summits.

WHERE: Horseshoe Valley Resort

WHO: Every participant will have an individual fundraising commitment to their best efforts with a goal of $200 minimum per team member and a recommended goal of $400 per team member. All funds raised will go to support United Way Simcoe Muskoka.

Event Schedule - May 31, 2026

  • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Breakfast & Registration

  • 9:00 AM: Opening Ceremony

  • 9:30 AM: Hike Begins

  • 4:00 PM: Event Concludes
